PALFINGER's abandon and recovery winches are especially designed to abandon or recover a pipe or cable at the seabed. Additionally, these winches automatically maintain a constant tension on the pipe during pipe laying or cable laying operations. The top tension required increases in proportion to the depth of the water. Ultimately, an increased abandon and recovery winch cable length as well as tensioner capacity are required.
