Marine

The boom extension features a telescopic inner section that provides a flexible and wide operational radius while keeping the crane compact when stored. With their low weight and simplified design, PALFINGER telescopic boom cranes are highly maintenance-friendly. They are commonly used on fish farming vessels and larger service vessels as service cranes, provision cranes, and container or cargo handling cranes, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across diverse marine applications.

PALFINGER telescopic boom cranes are built on a robust pedestal slewing design with hydraulic cylinder luffing and are available with lifting moments of up to 12,000 kNm. Supplied according to customer requirements and equipped with numerous optional features, they are mounted on rigs, platforms, and offshore vessels for a wide range of operations. Commonly used as deck cranes (shipboard), provision cranes, and ship-to-ship cranes, they provide reliable performance for flexible material handling and safe offshore operations.

PALFINGER telescopic boom cranes for the wind industry ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of supply vessels, as well as flexible material handling, servicing, and equipment transfer on offshore substations. Commonly used as substation cranes, they are customized to perform reliably in any sea state (SWH). With optional features that enhance functionality and safety, PALFINGER MARINE telescopic boom cranes are designed in accordance with all customer requirements, rules, and regulations.
