Regional Service Manager

Primary responsibility is for the regional leadership, operations performance, labor efficiency and timeliness of delivery. The main goal will be in expanding our market share for Palfinger service with a focus on customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Detailed knowledge of Palfinger related products and other key suppliers.
  • Manage and schedule in-house and field service technicians for the location and region. Train and assist service technicians on knowledge with all products PUSA services.
  • Approve and manage expenses and cost for daily operations. Review the location plan for current and future workloads including labor and customer needs.
  • Works with other locations as needed to ensure customer needs are met. Detailed knowledge of area customer base and competition. 
  • Goal is to have zero defects on service. Process and file all warranty claims for Palfinger and other vendors.
  • Active and courteous communication with internal support. Customer focused approach to both external customers and “internal” customers.
  • Employee will report directly to PUSA Regional Service Director.

Your Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • 14 years’ experience in broad/general shop/service management or 10 years’ experience within the truck equipment /crane equipment industry.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and company CRM.
  • Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Technical knowledge on the products Palfinger produces
  • Good people skills and ability to look at situations from a business standpoint
