Introduction:

PALFINGER is looking for a forklift operator to take finished components from production and prepare them for storage, shipping or loading. We are located in Council Bluffs, IA and this position reports to Loading/Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

This position will utilize a forklift on a daily basis.
You will need to be skilled in the movement and placement of material in close spaces, precision splitting and stacking of a load, pallet, bundles, etc.
Maintain productivity levels consistent with the need of the loading and shipping/receiving departments.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Forklift experience.
Ability to climb onto truck trailers for loading and inspection.
Frequently lift 60 to 100 pounds.
Have yard depth perception for placing items correctly.
Mechanically inclined.
A CDL license a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work loads.
