PALFINGER offers a world premiere – the presentation of the largest all-terrain access platform in the world, the P 1000 – at the international trade fair for access and hoisting platforms APEX from 2 to 4 May in Amsterdam. Six further models in addition to the P 1000 will be on display, emphasising PALFINGER’s pioneering role on the access platform market. From the compact Smart Class to the Top Class, the product range covers all application areas with a working height of up to 102.5 metres.

For all visitors who want to experience for themselves what it feels like to stand on an access platform several metres up in the air, PALFINGER offers a special experience for the first time ever: a trip with a prototype in a virtual reality simulation. PALFINGER is also innovating with two new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that provide increased operator-friendliness. You can experience the advantages of the Hands Free and Collision Protection functions of the P 1000 on location. Visitors to the trade fair stand will also be invited to explore the new generation of diagnostic and configuration tools.

An overview of the models on show at APEX:

The largest all-terrain access platform in the world: the P 1000

The access platform was primarily developed to facilitate assembly and service work on wind-power plants. With a lateral reach of 35 metres, jobs can be completed at a height of up to 102.5 metres with a basket load of 200 kilograms. The maximum nominal load in the basket is 600 kilograms. As a further development of the WT 1000, it is not just its enormous working height that is impressive. Established functions of the Jumbo NX Class can now be found in the Top Class as well. This gives the P 1000 new safety and assistance functions as well. Since the set-up width is 60 cm less than the previous model, with no change in performance data, even restricted spaces do not pose a problem. The P 1000 is assembled on a five-axis all-terrain Faun chassis and is thus the number one choice for difficult-to-reach terrain.

P 640 from the Jumbo Class NX series

Flexible, precise and easy to control: The established PALFINGER quality is carefully implemented in the new Jumbo generation as well. The P 640 will be one of the four representatives of the successful Jumbo Class NX to be exhibited in Amsterdam. The access platform allows the user to align and position the basket exactly – partly thanks to the flexible basket rotation of 2 x 220 degrees. In addition to a working height of 64 metres and a reach of 40.5 metres, its weight-optimised design is also impressive.

Working safely and easily with the PALFINGER P 250 BK

Light, safe and time-saving – the new P 250 BK access platform from the PALFINGER Light Class. Not only do the workman basket and the telescopic system with aluminium extrusion profiles keep the weight of the P 250 BK low, they also make it extremely robust. Thanks to the stabiliser control (unique in this segment) with particularly easy operating logic, working safely and efficiently is guaranteed.

Compact and manoeuvrable when used in the city: the Smart Class

PALFINGER Platforms Italy presents the P 170 TXE, P 200 AXE and P 160 A models from the Smart Class at this renowned trade fair. All three access platforms are installed on a new lorry with a total weight of 3.5 tonnes and comply with the Euro 6 regulation. Its advantages are made perfectly clear thanks to the manoeuvrability achieved through the short wheelbase, the compact design and the operator-friendly handling. The Smart Class access platforms are perfect all-rounders. New features make them even more powerful.

P 170 TXE Euro 6: in use for building cleaning

Where space is at a premium and with a maximum lateral reach, the P 170 TXE is used both to supply energy in urban areas and to clean buildings. With a maximum working height of 17 metres, the workman basket can be rotated 2 x 90 degrees and can carry up to 250 kilograms.

P 200 AXE Euro 6: working safely and reliably

Reliable with a strong performance: the P 200 AXE Euro 6 is compact and manoeuvrable and cannot fail to impress with its product efficiency and sophisticated hydraulic technology. With a maximum working height of 20 metres, it can be used precisely and safely at height.

The P 160 A Euro 6: flexible and skilful on city streets

Assembled on a Mitsubishi Fuso, the P 160 A cuts a fine figure with a maximum working height of 16 metres. Thanks to its total length of 4.5 metres, it is particularly manoeuvrable and thus ideal for use in city centres where space is at a premium.

The P 180 AJTK: equipped for any terrain

The P 180 AJTK is a smart access platform on a crawler. Since the crawlers function independently, the P 180 AJTK is perfectly suitable for use on difficult surfaces, even on muddy or uneven ground. Despite the compactness of the class, this access platform still reaches a working height of 17.7 metres, making it ideal for places that lorry-mounted platforms find difficult to access.

All platforms will be on show at APEX in Amsterdam from 2 to 4 May. Pay us a visit on site: outdoor exhibition area 1030
