This role reports to the Regional Fleet Service Manager working within our service support team, offering a competitive compensation package and opportunity for on-going career growth. This position will be located in Jackson, NJ and reports to the Regional Field Service Director.

Responsibilities

Detailed knowledge of Palfinger related products and other key suppliers.
Train, educate and assist service technicians on knowledge with all products PUSA services.
Manage and schedule in house and field service technicians for the location/region.
Approve expenses and cost for daily operations.
Reviews the location plan for current and future workloads including labor and customer needs.
Works with other locations as needed to ensure customer needs are met.
Goal is to have zero defects on service.
Detailed knowledge of area customer base and competition.
Tracking of service activities through the company provided CRM system.
Produce quotes that translate customer expectations with accurate costs.
Active and courteous communication with internal support.
Customer focused approach to both external customers and “internal” customers.
Employee will act with little supervision and must have an entrepreneurial drive in their daily activities.
Employee will report directly to PUSA’s Regional Field Service Director.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required
14 years’ experience in broad/general shop/service management or 10 years’ experience within the truck equipment /crane equipment industry.
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and company CRM.
Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful.
Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Technical knowledge on the products Palfinger produces.
Subject to: Inside/Outside conditions, Noise, Vibrations, Oils, & Hazards.
Standard physical requirements or accommodations
Must maintain a valid state driver license (third party driving history review will be conducted). CDL may also be required.
Responsible for assisting in customer deliveries and training.
