Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager West (CA/NV)  primary goals will be to work with the distributor base; develop and grow small, medium, and large size end user fleet business; cultivate and market directly to the leasing companies, OEM’S (Trailer and Truck Body), Regional Lease, (Pac-Lease, IdeaLease & National Lease), along with the national companies (Penske & Ryder).

Your Responsibilities

•    Expand existing sales, develop new sales and build an account portfolio in West territory. California and Neveda
•    Grow leasing companies, fleets, and trailer business.
•    Grow business with Body OEM’s.
•    Direct, develop, and execute sales plans and strategies to attain better profitability and level of service throughout the territory.
•    Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients with or without our Demo Trucks.
•    Generate leads.
•    Meet or exceed sales goals.
•    Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
•    Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
•    Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
•    Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
•    Manage regional meetings/associations.
•    Attend meetings with vendors/suppliers
•    Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.

Your Qualifications

•    Must reside in California or willing to relocate.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) Sales.
•    Prior work experience in truck equipment or truck sales experience, preferred. 
•    Computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
•    Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
•    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
•    Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Identifying alternative ways to inform via written, oral, and visual media.
•    Experience communicating with customers verbally to convey information and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
•    Problem solving wih the ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
•    Experience collaborating with others and buidling teams.
•    Work independently take initiative and be resourceful with minimal supervision. 
•    Experience negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcome.
•    Demonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reports.
•    Ability to travel to various states within the U.S. to meet with customers, and participate in trade shows.

Salary Range:  $60K - $70K plus commission
