What excites you about the Red Bull Flugtag?

The opportunity to design and build a creative flying machine together as a team and to put on an entertaining performance with it at the Red Bull Flugtag.

I am the right person for the team because ...

... I sparked the idea for our flying machine. 😊

What is your role in the team?

I see myself in the role of the entertainer – I make sure that we have plenty of fun during the construction phase of the flying machine. Wherever I'm needed, I'm there to help.

Why are you best suited for this role?

Unfortunately, I had to relinquish the role of pilot to our lightweight Lukas Robl. That's why I use my positive attitude to life to keep the team happy and entertained.

What does innovation mean to you?

For me, innovation means changing a machine or a system. Ideally, this leads to an improvement in working or living conditions.

If you could sit next to a famous person on a plane, who would you like to sit next to?

There are two people I would like to sit next to:

  1. The inventor of the diesel engine, Rudolf Diesel: I find his attitude to the relationship between technology and society very interesting.
  2. The French philosopher Gilles Deleuze: His works have deeply impressed me and I would like to talk to him about them.

Your motto for the Red Bull Flugtag:

Let’s go shark-wild! With our flying machine, we want to surprise the jury and spectators and be remembered for a long time to come.
