The KBC Engineering Team in Köstendorf is developing and bringing into production the Knuckle Boom Cranes, the core of PALFINGER portfolio. We are looking for a Senior Expert Engineering Processes who will lead the evolution of our tool chain to support the final goal of our product’s Digital Twin. Your Responsibilities
- Contribution in the development and implementation of the PLM tool, as well as optimization of the relevant engineering and product development processes and specifics
- Interface between the PLM-project team and the Engineering community to align needs and viewpoints
- Translation of engineering requirements regarding simulations and validation to be representable in the system
- Conducting of and participation in workshops within the scope of PLM development
- Active participation in the expansion of the innovative digital mock-up validation process
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of mechanical, mechatronic, hydraulic engineering or similar.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of product development of machines in the automotive, construction equipment or agricultural fields, organized in serial production
- In depth knowledge of CAD/PLM /System simulations tools
- Strong social and intercultural competence, as well as communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English and readiness to travel (10%)

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
