Regional Sales Manager, Dealer Development

PALFINGER is searching for a Regional Sales Manager, Dealer Development will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new dealers to expand our existing dealer network within the North America region. This is an on-site, hybrid or remote position. The physical location is at 341 NW 122, Oklahoma City, OK. This position reports to North America Region Vice President of Sales.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify New Dealer Prospects through market research, industry networking and other market insight activities.
  • Evaluate Potential Dealers in partnership with corporate development to ensure prospective dealers meet established dealer requirements.
  • Recruit New Dealers: Contact potential dealers, present our value proposition, and negotiate terms of partnership. 
  • Onboard and Launch New Dealers via product and sales training to ensure dealers are equipped to effectively sell Palfinger products; ensure internal and external processes and protocols are implemented and ready for go-live.
  • Facilitate the Effectiveness of the existing dealer network through the implementation of tools, processes, training, and other initiatives designed to enhance performance.
     

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or 5 + years of dealer development experience in North America.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate while building relationships for the long-term.
  • 5 + years of bucket or service truck experience preferred. 
  • Experienced in word, excel, power point, CRM. 
  • Travel 50%+, remote home office.
