PALFINGER is searching for a Welder to work at the Oklahoma facility. We are located at 341 NW 122 Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73114. This position reports to a Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

L-0

6 Months to 1 year of experience with welding preferred.
Blueprint reading.
Rigging/hoisting operations.
Has the ability to join metal components and fabricated assemblies with guidance and supervision. Operate hand grinder, power tools, saw, & ironworker with guidance and supervision.
Operate welding machine with guidance and supervision. Mig sick tig welding steel and aluminum.
Set up and fit-up components with guidance and supervision.
Operate machinery, including a vertical bandsaw, punch press, and Bridge crane, with guidance and supervision

1 year to 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication preferred.
Blueprint reading.
Rigging/hoisting operations.
Has knowledge of welding tools and measurement tools and how to use them.
Operate hand grinder, power tools, saw, & ironworker with very little guidance or supervision.
Operate welding machine with very little guidance or supervision. Mig sick tig welding steel and aluminum.
Set up and fit-up components with very little guidance or supervision.
Operate machinery, including a vertical bandsaw, punch press, and Bridge crane, with very little guidance or supervision.
Repair weld defects with no guidance or supervision.
Willing to coach and mentor and train new starts on some welding prosses.

3 + years of experience in welding and fabrication preferred.
Blueprint reading.

Has knowledge of welding tools and measurement tools and how to use them.
Operate hand grinder, power tools, saw, & ironworker with very little guidance or supervision.
Operate welding machine with very little guidance or supervision. Mig sick tig welding steel and aluminum.
Set up and fit-up components with very little guidance or supervision.
Operate machinery, including a vertical bandsaw, punch press, and Bridge crane, with very little guidance or supervision.
Repair weld defects with no guidance or supervision.
The ability to troubleshoot weldments and repair without or very little outside help.
Willing to coach and mentor and train new starts on welding and fabrication prosses with very little guidance from the lead or supervisor.
Willing to problem solve and give solutions and inputs and take sustainable actions.

Qualifications:

Parts preparation skills preferred.
Working knowledge of welding techniques.
Knowledge of materials & welding wires.
Parts preparation skills.
Blueprint reading.
Rigging/hoisting operations.
Basic knowledge of Basic welding tools and how to use them.
Ability to pass a welding certification test.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions).
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, history of monitoring own work to ensure quality.
Possesses ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Actively observes safety and security policies and procedures.
Uses equipment and materials properly.
