Head of Global Product Management (f/m/d)

We are currently looking for our new Head of Global Product Management (f/m/d) who will lead the innovation and development of our products. We're looking for a visionary leader to drive our global product strategy, ensuring excellence and market success across all regions.

 

This role is part of the loader cranes product line and is a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Product Line Leader for Loader Cranes. The Head of Global Product Management is responsible for strategic portfolio management and oversees the global product development roadmap. This position leads a team of global product managers and is tasked with advancing the global product management approach for the loader cranes product line. Additionally, this role emphasizes a strong focus on people, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the development of the global product management organization, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment;
  • Consolidate competitive landscape insights regarding products, features, and capabilities based on input from the regional outbound product management network;
  • Evaluate the value proposition of the global product line portfolio, defining priorities and guidelines to maximize value within budget constraints;
  • Present and align the product strategy with the product line leadership team, providing scenario planning for different price positioning strategies to facilitate decision-making;
  • Generate a consolidated overview of product performance, including key performance indicators such as revenue, cost savings, margin, market share, and customer feedback, and present insights to the product line leadership team.
     

Your Qualifications:

 

  • Strong expertise in the application of state-of-the-art product management tools and methods; 
  • Proven expertise in developing a global product management organization, with extensive experience in technically complex products, preferably in the lifting, mounting, truck, or OEM industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and optimize processes, with a strong willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  •  Possesses an outgoing personality with exceptional leadership skills, adept at effectively guiding and mentoring a high-performing team;
  • Strong communicator, able to initiate and build long-lasting intercultural relationships and alliances with excellent analytical and conceptual skills.

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 65.432,36  per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
