PALFINGER is searching for a LEAN Manager to work with all departments within the plant to support continuous improvement activities. We are located in Council Bluffs, IA and this position reports to the Senior Operations Manager.

Your Responsibilities

Understand and implement the PPS strategy at both plant and regional levels.
Deliver basic and advanced PPS training to staff and shop floor employees, and develop training plans for shop floor employees.
Implement LEAN thinking based on value streams and shop floor management, and deploy PPS in the plant.
Support continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events, training, and creating work orders.
Document and improve value streams with value stream analysis and design, and track the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of workstations.

Your Qualifications

High School diploma or GED (minimum requirement), college education preferred.
Proven leadership skills are essential for this role.
Proficiency in Microsoft office is required, with intermediate-level Excel experience. Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both in technical writing and spoken English, are necessary.
Experience in LEAN Manufacturing is required, along with familiarity with SAP and AutoCAD or similar 2D modeling
