We’re looking for a top-tier Sales Specialist to drive the direct sales of our PW, PK, and truck-mounted forklift product lines and contribute to our ongoing growth. This exciting role comes with regional territory responsibilities and key account management, all with a focus on expanding our market share by winning over customers who currently use competitive equipment. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota and report directly to the Director of Sales and Business Development.

Your Responsibilities

Dive deep into PALFINGER products and key suppliers, understanding their applications and industry segments to gain subject matter expertise
Provide on-demand quotes, perform equipment demonstrations, and ensure smooth product handovers
Know your local customer base and stay ahead of the competition and track activities and quotes within our CRM
Efficient coordination as a liaison with production and engineering teams to meet customer demands and deadlines
Communicate courteously with both internal and external customers, translating expectations into accurate quotes
Drive results by consistently meeting or exceeding sales with an entrepreneurial drive in your daily activities

Your Qualifications

High School diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
7 years of experience in general sales or 5 years in truck/crane equipment industry
Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, create order intake, and take initiative.
Must reside within the assigned sales territory of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or on the border of the territory
Knowledge of equipment repair, truck chassis, and material handling applications along with Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and CRM
Ability to drive a CDL class demo truck and follow DOT guidelines along with the ability to operate PALFINGER cranes of all sizes to provide expert demonstrations and handovers
Availability to travel overnight within assigned region to prospect new business and out of state for trade show events or other meetings as necessary
