Participation in Innorail Conference 2024

05.12.2024

The innoRAIL Expo & Conference, held from 28 to 30 November at the RDSO in Lucknow, was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Research Design & Standards Organization(RDSO), Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The primary objectives of this event were to establish a neutral platform for all stakeholders within the railway sector, facilitate effective business networking with key representatives across various segments, and connect with all divisions of RDSO to showcase global innovations aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and service within India's expanding railway framework.

The event enabled us to engage with the traction, bridges and structures, garage and wagons directorates, thereby fostering opportunities related to track machines, tower wagons, and Metro projects, particularly in the area of Overhead Equipment maintenance (OHE). We successfully identified relevant contacts responsible for the preparation of the equipment requirement checklist for railways, which allowed us to establish connections with all stakeholders involved. This was the principal objective achieved during this event.

Furthermore, we connected with the RDSO team, who will assist in developing opportunities for the railway sector by creating necessary specifications. This platform served as a foundation for us to explore future railway projects, their requirements, and key enablers, thereby generating potential opportunities for our railway product line in collaboration with Indian Railways.

At PALFINGER, we are committed to listening to the needs of our customers and industry partners. We believe that by continuously engaging with the market and incorporating feedback, we can continue to deliver the best lifting solutions possible.
