For our Global Business Services Center, situated in Sofia, we are looking for an initiative, detail-oriented person with excellent analytical skills at the position: Accounts Payable Specialist with German

Key responsibilities:

  • Verify and book invoices of different type (External, Intercompany, PO, NON-PO) in SAP;
  • Contribute the processing of accounts payable invoices on a timely manner, respect payment terms and avoid delayed payments;
  • Identify correct coding information and forward for proper approval to responsible in the business organization;
  • Communicate with internal or external customers and investigate issues with supplier invoices when needed;
  • Check the data according to the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Prepare the necessary documents for the closing of the relevant financial periods;
  • Summarize the current financial status and reconciliation of all accounts payable;
  • Comply with and enforce the International Financial Reporting Standards - IFRS and GAAP.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
  • Previous experience in a similar position is required;
  • Knowledge of SAP processes - will be an advantage;
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
  • High level of English & German - spoken and written.
