Sales Director West/NW Account Executive

PALFINGER is searching for a Sales Director West/Northwest Account Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will identify, establish, and grow key accounts in the US by developing a market strategy and analysis of vertical customer segments. You will also manage Regional Sales Managers; the geography that your team will be responsible for includes Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, California, Nevada, Hawaii, and Western Canada.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop full market analysis of product portfolio, identifying vertical market segments.
- Drive and execute all phases of business development life cycle.
- Manage Regional Sales Managers, develop sales goals and produce results with a focus on growing market share in assigned Region.
- Provide sales reporting and forecasting.
- Work with Body OEMs on configurators and special projects.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years of business development experience in the transportation industry including experience with an assigned geographic territory.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a National, or Strategic Account Sales role.
- Experience developing market/customer segment growth strategies and applying a consultative sales approach.
- Proven ability to manage teams, set performance goals, achieve outcomes, and able to travel across the US.
- Strong technical acumen, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products with advanced Excel skills.
