PALFINGER is searching for a Parts Shipper to Assemble and ship parts orders and intercompany transfers. Navigate ERP system for orders that can be picked up and shipped. Produce required labels and documents. Maintain equipment and inventory used to perform warehouse tasks in line with prescribed procedures and work instructions. We are located in Cerritos, CA. This position reports to the Materials Manager.

Responsibilities:

•    Sort available deliveries and generate pick slips in accordance with delivery requirements and inventory availability for picking.
•    Pick orders from inventory and assemble ordered components for packing. Verifying item references,quanities for accuracy.
•    Secure shipping container as required to protect damage or loss of components while in transit.
•    Enter shipment details into shipping system to generate shipping labels as define on shipping documents.
•    Load shipments on carrier’s transport vehicles as necessary.
•    Ensure shipments are available for couriers/carriers at designated pick up times. Ensure all shipments are loaded and accounted for in end of day document summaries.
•    Maintain stocks of shipping supplies.
•    Keep the assigned areas in clean and organized condition daily.
•     Process and organize orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
•    Aditional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: (Must meet minimum requirements.)

•    Desire to be the best at your craft
• 1 + Years shipping/reciving experience perferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry.
•    Ability to work in a process driven environment.
•    Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
•    Strength to lift 50 lbs of merchandise.
•    Attentive listening skills.

Salary Range: $21- $24.00 per hour
