Parts Customer Service Representative

PALFINGER is searching for a Parts Customer Service Representative to interact and serve customers. We are located at 341 NW 122, Oklahooma City, OK. This position reports to the Parts Customer Service Representative. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone calls, e-mails, fax, and walk-in customers regarding price and availability and advise customers on substitution parts as needed.
  • Provide dealers with latest parts delivery status and shipping information and expedite back-ordered parts.
  • Educate customers on standing spare parts department, sales orders, and return policies.
  • Work with Service/Shop Manager/Vendors for required production support and provide parts application diagrams and photos when necessary.
  • Ensure proper entry of received customer orders to confirm all required detail is present at time of order acceptance and communicate additional requirements to dealers when/where necessary.
  • Process invoicing, enter and close out warranty claims, and create required system documents. 
  • Manage credit card transactions for parts purchases and communicate credit limits with customers.
  • Review on time delivery performance in territory and report exceptions to objective to parts management and provide feedback on market conditions.
     

Your Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in an industrial product’s spare parts sales environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of spare parts operations within dealer parts and service department levels.
  • Customer service mindset to provide the best available solutions and to effectively communicate with dealer staff through questions and concerns.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with ability to utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word and able to understand SAP order entry and associated transactions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization to properly communicate information, ideas, and sometimes complicated concepts to dealer representatives.
