Palfinger USA job opportunity for Equipment Sales and Equipment Handover Representative that is looking to grow their career in sales. This role will be divided 50% between equipment sales responsibility in New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming of the Palfinger PK, PW, and TMF product lines and 50% nationwide handover support of new PK, PW, and TMF machines for the major fleet accounts as requested/required. This position is assigned to a regional territory of responsibilities along with being designated to specific Accounts. The main goals will be in expanding our market share for the Palfinger products sales in the assigned region and providing the handover orientation training to operators/managers at the time of equipment delivery to support the fleet accounts nationwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Detailed knowledge of Palfinger related products and Palfinger Markets. Support in developing standard product offerings tied to market applications.
  • Understanding of applications/ industry segments that align with the products being represented and sold. Trade Show Participation, travel to Product Shows as assigned and be ambassador to the brand. 
  • Perform on-site demonstrations of equipment and product hand-over. Cross Sell and Promote Palfinger Brand for all Products sold and service in North America 
  • Detailed knowledge of area customer base and competition.
  • Coordinate customer demands and relay deadlines with the production team and engineering staff.
  • Tracking of activities and quotes through the company provided CRM system. Produce quotes that translate customer expectations with accurate costs.
  • Courteous interaction with customers, responsiveness of quotes, knowledge of inventory. Meet and/or exceed mutually agreed upon sales targets to reach our forecasted goals.

Your Qualifications

  • High School or GED expected minimum. 4-year College or Relevant experience in the industry.
  • 5+ years’ experience in broad/general Capital Equipment sales desired 2-3+ years. experience within knuckle boom crane, truck mounted forklift equipment industry. CDL license preferred or ability to obtain one. 
  • Initiative-taking and able to perform job duties and create customer relations that leads to order intake unsupervised in field.
  • Must live within the assigned sales territory and within 1 hour of major Metropolitan Airport.
  • Knowledge of equipment repair processes and how to support and provide correct information to Service & Parts.
  • Experience within the construction, mining, and building material market application including knowledge of Off-Road Industries, and how they operate, purchase, and maintain equipment. 
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and ability to CRM system.
