The main components are sand-blasted, degreased, primer painted and final coated (according to customer specification) before assembling, all other parts are zinc nickel anticorrosion treated. PALFINGER meets ISO 12944 standard specifications concerning surface protection, classification 3.
POP: CORROSION RESISTANCE AUTOMOTIVE STANDARD
Mechanical parts are protected with a ZINNI AL 15 coating. A large number of automotive manufacturers, e.g. Mercedes Benz - Toyota - VW, etc. use this technology on all parts which must face difficult environmental conditions.
POP: INCREASED LIFETIME
Components are electrostatic coated before assembling. Non painted parts (pins, pin stops, fittings, springs) are corrosion protected. Shiny Yellow RAL 1003 on arm and rear pulleys offers top visibility and high safety.
