PALFINGER is searching for an Shop Lead. We are located at 632 Cedar Swamp Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager.

Your Responsibilities

Detailed knowledge of Palfinger related products and other key suppliers. Train and assist service technicians on knowledge with all products PUSA services
Manage and schedule in-house service technicians for the location. Approve and manage expenses and cost for daily branch operation. Reviews the location plan for current and future workloads including labor and customer needs.
Work with other locations as needed to ensure customer needs are met.
Goal is to have zero defects on service. Communicate issues and progress to Regional Service Manager.
Responsible for service documentation in a timely manner that consists of but not limited to; estimates, work order authorization, ordering and recording parts, labor, expenses and inventory documentation.
Comply with state and federal safety regulations. Enforce Palfinger Safety and operating policy’s
Maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Your Qualifications

High School or GED expected minimum. 3 years mechanical experience or training with emphasis in the area of articulating cranes and forklifts. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM system.
Class A or B CDL is preferred
Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful
Recognized as being self-motivated and a self-starter
Strong proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, troubleshooting diagnostics and welding
Must speak, read and write English.
Must supply own basic hand tools.
