Introduction

PALFINGER is searching for a Quality Manager, Product Line Loader Cranes to ensure and continuously improve the quality of processes and products from the development phase onward. This roll will set and support the implementation of new quality standards, manage deviations, and make informed decisions based on your analyses. This role will also effectively manage projects and collaborate with global and local experts to advance quality and environmental standards. We are located in Council Bluffs, IA and this position reports to the Head of Product Line Quality Management.

Your Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders (i.e. the Product Line and Production teams) to ensure quality standards for Loader Cranes Products
Implement and continuously improve quality management processes from development through production
Focusing on building strong relationships with US-based stakeholders (Council Bluffs & Niagra Falls) Product Line Quality Management team
Support product development by applying quality tools and methods, and manage deviations
Promote quality and environmental awareness through training and ensure compliance during R&D and production phases

Your Qualifications

Experienced in quality management techniques (ISO 9001) and quality methods (FMEA, APQP, PPAP)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence stakeholders
Ability to work with a global team and geographically distributed peers
Technical background - open on industry background contingent on Quality Engineering experience
Strong communication skills, especially in convincing others regarding quality concerns
